The archetype of Protocol Art : physical plantoid sculpture that can be pollinated by Humans. Plantoids generate a generative artwork based on the interaction and mint them as an NFT that is assigned to the human pollinator; when Plantoid collect enough funds to reproduce themselves, their DAO opens a call for proposal and people can submit propositions on how they want to produce the next Plantoid.
Then the current owners of the Plantoids digital seeds (i.e. the NFTs) can vote on the propositions they like the most. Once a winning proposition is selected, the Plantoid will transfer the funds to the selected artist, who will be "hired' by the Plantoid to create a new copy of itself.
